Castillo San Guim, Lerida

This ?castillo?, a former noble home, is in the centre of the main square in the village of Sant Guim, near Guissona, Lerida, at a height of 556m. The property boasts medieval features and antique windows.The plot is 203m2 with a floor space of 609m2 spread over three floors. The outer walls are in perfect condition but inside needs restoration work, although there is electricity. On the ground floor is a large room, currently used for storing grain and cereal, a room with access to the street and a garage with a large wooden door. On the first floor we find the kitchen, with a fireplace, the dining room with access to the balcony and two large reception rooms. On the second floor is the attic, from where we can see the roof of the house and also where we find a further two large rooms. The houses in the village of Sant Guim are in a good state of conservation, having been restored over time. The town hall has been adapted for hosting celebrations and plays. The church of Santa Mar?a, in the main square, is a fairly modern building (the bell-tower dates from 1870) although it still has a wall of the original church.
